For three successive years, he was awarded the Coty Award. His wide-reaching retail sales were likely at more than 0 million every year, his clothes sold through 12,000 stores. Even with the company’s achievement, it almost faced economic failure in 1992. It eventually regained through the fashionable underwear and fragrance lines. Calvin Klein, Inc. was later on sold to Phillips Van Heusen Corp. Calvin Klein remained the creative head, onto advisor, but gradually became withdrawn from the company.
